Tobiano is simply spectacular! You have to play it at least once in your golf life. It is challenging at times but rewarding it can be. The greens are very fast in August. Lefties, make sure you have a cut drive in your swing arsenal. Don't forget to admire the views, a beautiful place to play golf. BC Golf Guide arranged our package and everything was perfect, thanks.

You probably don't need your driver on the front nine. Play smart and wait until the back nine to unleash your drive. Sun Peaks up on the mountains plays like Westwood Plateau and Chateau Whistler. The 16th tee is at some 4,300 ft above sea level, probably the highest tee box in BC.

Played on 2008-06-14 @ OSOYOOS GOLF & COUNTRY CLUB (Desert Gold 18) located in Osoyoos, BC, Canada

The Desert course is a good challenge for anyone's game management skills. The course is not terribly long, but it demands that you play very accurately and does not leave a lot of margin for error. It features a lot of dog leg type holes, as well as eleavated tee's and elevated greens to hit to. Some terrific views of the town and the Lake and surrounding vinyards and orchards as well. The twilight rates offer pretty good value.

Played on 2008-05-22 @ THE RISE GOLF CLUB located in Vernon, BC, Canada

Had the opportunity to play the back nine in the fall of 2007. This course is a new generation signature course with views that are absolutely breathtaking. The Okanagans only signature golf course (Fred Couples) The back nine is tough but fair with water carry iron shots and large fair greens. With the front nine open in June 2008 with treelined fairways, elevated par 3's waterfalls and lakes. The Rise will be THE must play course of the Okanagan....

Played on 2008-04-22 @ TALKING ROCK AT QUAAOUT RESORT - Secwepemc located in Chase, BC, Canada

Hi, My hubby went and played talking rock with some friends last august/2007. He was so pleased with the course that he took me to play with him the next day. Talking rock is a beautiful course and stands to challenge the best of golfer. Yet not intimidating to the average woman golfer such as myself. Hoping to go back and play a few rounds this year again. Hospitality is great and found the pricing reasonable. Thanks Talking Rock for a wonderful day.

    Thanks Robin Gardner

On a still wintery golf week,we played Tobiano. It's a course not to be missed. Stunning views, some incredible target holes. But most important is the quality of the fairways and greens, absolutely 1st class! We'll come back in the summer or fall.

Played on 2008-04-05 @ PREDATOR RIDGE GOLF RESORT located in Vernon, BC, Canada

I am not much of a golfer, but I know a beautiful course when I see one and stay on one. This is a first class place for a golf holiday; my grown children and my husband loved the golf and they were ecstatic with the course(s) and the shape they were in. The entire facility had something to offer everyone, except perhaps small children.

Just played last week end and course was in great shape.....even though it was 1 to 7 degrees out!! Greens were a little long but understandable with the weather. Tee boxes and fairways in great shape and staff very friendly.
Have also played in the summer and it will just get better!!

The Twin Lakes Hole #3 is one of the better holes I have played as well as one of the toughtest on this course. It is uphill to the green and the green is a tricky one to read.

To really appreciate this course one has to play this hole conservative.
